BIM

Outsourcing BIM to Kenzo will effectively improve efficiency and reduce costs for a project. BIM will enhance customer satisfaction and enables easy conflict resolution for a client and the Architectural team. Our engineers have hands-on experience in handling various medium and large-scale projects whereby we would be able to give visual access to building information and able to develop a snapshot with detailed documentation which will help the client to manage the repair, renovation and refurbishment easily.

Some of the services customers can leverage from outsourcing to Kenzo are as follows:

  • Clash detection

  • 4D Simulation

  • 5D Simulation

  • Model Animation

  • Revit Links

  • Rendering

  • HVAC system

  • Mechanical Designs

  • Fire fighting Designs

  • Plumbing Designs

  • Detailing and Scheduling

  • Data Import

  • Setting up levels and grids

  • Creating Building sections

Point Cloud 3D BIM Modelling

Laser scans are used to collect point cloud data, which is then used to develop precise Revit BIM models. These Scan-to-BIM models are especially useful for existing structures with no available plans. Alterations, such as false ceilings, can be modelled. Point Cloud 3D BIM Modelling is a process of creating a digital representation of a building or structure using 3D modelling software and laser scanning technology. Laser scanning is used to capture accurate and detailed measurements of an existing building or structure, and the data is then used to create a 3D model of the structure using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.

Point cloud data is a set of data points in a 3D coordinate system that represents the external or internal surface of a physical object, including buildings and structures. The laser scanner captures millions of these points, which are then used to create a digital representation of the building or structure.

Once the point cloud data is collected, it is imported into the BIM software, which creates a 3D model of the structure. The model can then be used to perform various analyses and simulations, such as energy analysis, clash detection, and virtual walkthroughs.

Point Cloud 3D BIM Modelling has several advantages over traditional 2D drawings or 3D modelling approaches, including:

Increased accuracy: Point cloud data is highly accurate, and the resulting 3D model is an exact replica of the existing building or structure.

Time savings: Point cloud data can be captured quickly, and the resulting 3D model can be created faster than traditional 2D drawings or 3D modelling approaches.

Improved collaboration: The 3D model created through Point Cloud 3D BIM Modelling provides a detailed and accurate representation of the building or structure, making it easier for different stakeholders to collaborate and make informed decisions.

Reduced errors: Point Cloud 3D BIM Modelling reduces errors by providing an accurate representation of the building or structure, making it easier to identify potential issues before construction or renovation work begins.

Overall, Point Cloud 3D BIM Modelling is an effective tool for creating accurate, detailed, and highly collaborative 3D models of existing buildings or structures, making it valuable in a wide range of industries, including architecture, construction, and engineering.

3D Modelling

From just 2D layout plans and elevations, 3D models are created with precision and according to any given specifications.

4D Modelling

To show how a model develops over a certain time period, 3D models are created with time-based scheduling. This is useful to manage resources and budgets.
